ENES's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gattuzo's Gökalp Akbayrak got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ENES defense, Tugay Çimen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halit İmroz. The ENES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halit İmroz should have stopped the shot. When Gökalp Akbayrak came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gattuzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökalp Akbayrak couldn't finish the play. After having played for 93 minutes, Tugay Çimen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gattuzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tugay Çimen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gökalp Akbayrak struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Halit İmroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gattuzo. Tugay Çimen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
