In the 12th match minute, Denizlispor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim Efe Sebil to maneuver through the defense. Denizlispor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tuna Azimoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the AMG ULTRAARSLAN defense, Mücahit Tuyan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genco Pekol. The AMG ULTRAARSLAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genco Pekol should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of AMG ULTRAARSLAN booed when Denizlispor FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mücahit Tuyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Enis Resat sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Denizlispor FK's Serkan Sina didn't even have to move.
