When Bulut Sergen came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ergani JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bulut Sergen couldn't finish the play. Bulut Sergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oktay Hatemoğlu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Aksarayspor defense, Halim Aras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oktay Hatemoğlu. The Aksarayspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oktay Hatemoğlu should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ergani JK booed when Aksarayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Rıza Boyraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oktay Hatemoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bulut Sergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Oktay Hatemoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Halim Aras's late challenge caught a Aksarayspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halim Aras helped the player get up and apologised. Halim Aras hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ergani JK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
