The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. KULASPOR's Uluç Aydıntan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save KULASPOR from getting a goal against them. In the 5th match minute, KULASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Süleyman Semin to maneuver through the defense. A well-hit corner resulted in Arif Bilge Süner heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Refik Karginalp hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Uluç Aydıntan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olcay Orkun Eymen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdeniz Oksu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arın Ferhat İşbilir, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Arın Ferhat İşbilir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KULASPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, KULASPOR's Bilal Baybars got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to KULASPOR getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Batuğ Yaybüke hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Tunç Perinçek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. beşiktAŞK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tunç Perinçek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Olcay Orkun Eymen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uluç Aydıntan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tunç Perinçek in the 39th minute of the match. Tunç Perinçek might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uluç Aydıntan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tunç Perinçek ran back to his position shaking his head. If Olcay Orkun Eymen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, KULASPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Olcay Orkun Eymen came free, but Uluç Aydıntan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 played minutes KULASPOR got a freekick which was hit by Süleyman Semin. In the 49th minute Ahmet Göktuğ Ciner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uluç Aydıntan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 57th minute, Olcay Orkun Eymen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olcay Orkun Eymen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Uluç Aydıntan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Refik Karginalp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erdeniz Oksu. The goal made the score 0-2. When Olcay Orkun Eymen came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the beşiktAŞK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olcay Orkun Eymen couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Arif Bilge Süner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tunç Perinçek might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uluç Aydıntan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Bilge Süner in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uluç Aydıntan saved KULASPOR from getting behind. Erdeniz Oksu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Refik Karginalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. beşiktAŞK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Göktuğ Ciner in the 81st minute. Ahmet Göktuğ Ciner made a great header on beşiktAŞK's corner, it was just that KULASPOR's Uluç Aydıntan managed to reach the ball for a save. KULASPOR's Uluç Aydıntan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Perinçek in the 98th minute of play. Although beşiktAŞK had been in control for most of the match, KULASPOR still came away with the win.
