Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vefa Onurad made the kick off which started today's match. Anadolu Gücü's Sezai Albayrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nurettin Ongut in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Anadolu Gücü's goal looked a bit too open when Nurettin Ongut came free, but Sezai Albayrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Anadolu Gücü's Vefa Onurad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Yaşar Aksun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Nejat Aydemir came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Karamürsel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nejat Aydemir couldn't finish the play. Vefa Onurad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Yaşar Aksun having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Cüneyd Neval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nejat Aydemir struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sezai Albayrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamürsel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vefa Onurad in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Yaşar Aksun saved Karamürsel from getting behind. In the 29th minute of the match Karamürsel got a corner. Anadolu Gücü's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zülfikar Türkmen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Karamürsel's Zülfikar Türkmen to fire away a dangerous shot which Sezai Albayrak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st minute, Behçet Katib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vefa Onurad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mustafa Yaşar Aksun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Harun Onurhan in the 37th minute of play forced Karamürsel's goalkeeper Mustafa Yaşar Aksun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anadolu Gücü's Sezai Albayrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Anadolu Gücü from getting a goal against them.

Nejat Aydemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sezai Albayrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sezai Albayrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nejat Aydemir in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karamürsel! After some careless play in the Anadolu Gücü defense, Nejat Aydemir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sezai Albayrak. The Anadolu Gücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sezai Albayrak should have stopped the shot. 2-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Nurettin Ongut elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Karamürsel's Zülfikar Türkmen tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nurettin Ongut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes, Yetkiner Tublek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anadolu Gücü and the Karamürsel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Anadolu Gücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yetkiner Tublek to maneuver through the defense. Karamürsel's Nurettin Ongut got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
