The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Battal Cüneyt Rafet kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Korkmaz FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Anadolu Gücü's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Boran Sarduç took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Kuddusî Rafih heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 18th minute Güven Karin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Albayrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Güven Karin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabahattin Sayraç hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Kuddusî Rafih's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sezai Albayrak was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Korkmaz FC's Güven Karin got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After having played for 60 minutes, Kuddusî Rafih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korkmaz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuddusî Rafih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sezai Albayrak made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Kuddusî Rafih sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 65 minutes, Kuddusî Rafih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee showed Güven Urandu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Korkmaz FC booed when Anadolu Gücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güven Urandu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korkmaz FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
