When Cüneyt Devan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the EfekayaFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cüneyt Devan couldn't finish the play. Nusret Coşkunsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sezai Albayrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Anadolu Gücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güven Urandu to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Nusret Coşkunsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Gürkan Girgin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cüneyt Devan to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes EfekayaFC got a freekick which was hit by Özmen Yaren. Ahmet Harun Onurhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu having to interfere. Gürkan Girgin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sezai Albayrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Batıray Özgener hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Sezai Albayrak made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cüneyt Devan sent off a good shot on target. Güven Urandu's late challenge caught a EfekayaFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güven Urandu helped the player get up and apologised. EfekayaFC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Anadolu Gücü's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arif Egemen Öktuna took the corner. With a little luck, Anadolu Gücü's Sezai Albayrak got control of the ball when Nusret Coşkunsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Sezai Albayrak managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when EfekayaFC's Cüneyt Devan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anadolu Gücü succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though EfekayaFC had controlled the match.
