The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karahan İnanoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ahmet Harun Onurhan scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bünyamin Bekdil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Harun Onurhan in the 27th minute of play forced DostlukSpor's goalkeeper Bünyamin Bekdil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Anadolu Gücü got a freekick which was hit by Sabahattin Sayraç. Güven Urandu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Memduh Canfeda in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sezai Albayrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sezai Albayrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Memduh Canfeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, DostlukSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Güven Urandu came free, but Bünyamin Bekdil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seyfi Önateş hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. If Güven Urandu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Ahmet Harun Onurhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bünyamin Bekdil having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Vefa Onurad fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ahmet Harun Onurhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Bünyamin Bekdil made a huge save. Bünyamin Bekdil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vefa Onurad, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Vefa Onurad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bünyamin Bekdil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuddusî Cansefa kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Anadolu Gücü booed when DostlukSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfi Önateş didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DostlukSpor's zone, Ahmet Harun Onurhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bünyamin Bekdil came out of the goal and Ahmet Harun Onurhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Harun Onurhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bünyamin Bekdil having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haluk Gündem during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 minutes Anadolu Gücü's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aydın Sati who took care of the corner kick. The DostlukSpor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Anadolu Gücü's performance. The match ended with a win for Anadolu Gücü.
