Bitlis Football Club's Kılıçalp Humbaracıbaşı got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anadolu Gücü's goalkeeper Sezai Albayrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Halit Ziya Cire kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Kılıçalp Humbaracıbaşı made the kick off in the second half. Bitlis Football Club's Cevahir Uraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batıray Özgener in the 52nd minute of play. Vefa Onurad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute of the match, Kılıçalp Humbaracıbaşı tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sezai Albayrak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cevahir Uraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute Vefa Onurad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevahir Uraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kılıçalp Humbaracıbaşı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Batıray Özgener hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Anadolu Gücü had played much better football throughout.
