Genco Emir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kemal Oğuzbay having to make a save. After having played for 8 minutes, Sarper Nurtac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maltepespor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarper Nurtac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arda Ozan Rıfat hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Çağlar Soyuncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarper Nurtac in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Maltepespor booed when ÇETİN FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Ozan Rıfat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çağlar Soyuncu came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Maltepespor's Gökçe Baykır. But to his dismay, Gökçe Baykır quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Gökçe Baykır who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ÇETİN FK's Çağlar Soyuncu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kutlualp Başer charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kutlualp Başer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kutlualp Başer hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the ÇETİN FK defense, Gökçe Baykır kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Çağlar Soyuncu. The ÇETİN FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Çağlar Soyuncu should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Gökçe Baykır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çağlar Soyuncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kutlualp Başer was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of ÇETİN FK booed when Maltepespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlualp Başer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind ÇETİN FK's goalkeeper Çağlar Soyuncu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ömer Vasif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Çağlar Soyuncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Maltepespor were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özgür Dilan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sarper Nurtac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Sarper Nurtac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bilgehan Battal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ÇETİN FK's Çağlar Soyuncu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save ÇETİN FK from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind ÇETİN FK's goalkeeper Çağlar Soyuncu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kemal Oğuzbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Dilan in the 71st minute of the match. Gökçe Baykır hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Özgür Dilan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Maltepespor's Cankut Salah got a free kick in the 84th minute. Kemal Oğuzbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Varol Miran, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Sarper Nurtac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Çağlar Soyuncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gökçe Baykır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarper Nurtac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sarper Nurtac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bilgehan Battal scored 1-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Çağlar Soyuncu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Maltepespor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ÇETİN FK throughout the match.
