Baykam Oğuzbay hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Necdet Pekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Semi Okboğa in the 32nd minute. Alp Aydınalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abbas Kongar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Orhun Tanaltan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Yeşiköyspor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maslak:s goal. Aybars Durualp hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Dilaver Gürgan might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abbas Kongar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dilaver Gürgan ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dilaver Gürgan was the one to do the kick off. Maslak's Necdet Pekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Aydınalp in the 52nd minute of play. Yeşiköyspor's Alp Aydınalp got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Maslak's goal looked a bit too open when Semi Okboğa came free, but Necdet Pekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Maslak's Ecevit Peyam seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ecevit Peyam the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Maslak protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ecevit Peyam had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 83rd minute, Alp Aydınalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alp Aydınalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yeşiköyspor's Abbas Kongar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Yeşiköyspor from getting a goal against them. Semi Okboğa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Pekin having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maslak players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yeşiköyspor.
