Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Talat Özbal got the match started through his kick off. 19 minutes into the game, Galatasaray's Mikail Orcan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melih Cevdet Evirgen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olcay Polatkılıç in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melih Cevdet Evirgen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Kürşat Coşar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Talat Özbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulusi Vahdettin having to interfere. Hulusi Vahdettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talat Özbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikail Orcan to make the kick off. Galatasaray's Hulusi Vahdettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talat Özbal in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Trabzonspor JK's Ali Kürşat Coşar made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hulusi Vahdettin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olcay Polatkılıç kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Trabzonspor JK got a freekick which was hit by Ekber Tarim. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor JK's Zülfü Müşfik got a free kick in the 66th minute. Galatasaray's Tolgahan İdrisoğlu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Trabzonspor JK. In the 68th minute of the match, Mikail Orcan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melih Cevdet Evirgen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 69 minutes into the match, Mikail Orcan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melih Cevdet Evirgen, 1-3. Hulusi Vahdettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talat Özbal in the 78th minute of play. When Galatasaray's Mikail Orcan in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trabzonspor JK's goalie prevented a goal. Trabzonspor JK's Melih Cevdet Evirgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikail Orcan in the 92nd minute of play. Kerim Şenaltan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trabzonspor JK's Talat Özbal got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Galatasaray players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
