Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Recep Tayyip Tanır started the match with the kick off. When Hüseyin Rahmi Erbay came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cudispor SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüseyin Rahmi Erbay couldn't finish the play. After 9th play minutes Hüseyin Rahmi Erbay shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Abbas Kongar and just under the crossbar into goal. 13 minutes into the match, Yeşiköyspor's goalkeeper Abbas Kongar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Erbay. Recep Tayyip Tanır struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Abbas Kongar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cudispor SK. Yeşiköyspor's Semi Okboğa got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Semi Okboğa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Mehmet Osman Nafiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Semi Okboğa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neşat Vefai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neşat Vefai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alp Aydınalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Alp Aydınalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neşat Vefai having to interfere. If Semi Okboğa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mehmet Osman Nafiz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Semi Okboğa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Neşat Vefai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yeşiköyspor. In the 41st minute, Halit Oker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aktan Coşkuner might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abbas Kongar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aktan Coşkuner ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Rahmi Erbay notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Yeşiköyspor's Abbas Kongar. Abbas Kongar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alp Aydınalp was the one to do the kick off. Alp Aydınalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neşat Vefai having to interfere. Cudispor SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alp Aydınalp 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After 65 played minutes Alp Aydınalp rounded Cudispor SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Yeşiköyspor's Semi Okboğa got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Erbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yeşiköyspor's zone, Recep Tayyip Tanır stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abbas Kongar came out of the goal and Recep Tayyip Tanır tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Alp Aydınalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeşiköyspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Alp Aydınalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neşat Vefai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Yeşiköyspor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cudispor SK throughout the match.
