The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nedim Akdamar hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Rıfkı Tanalp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaffar Şükür, 1-0. In the 18thth minute of the game Bulut Akdoğu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akcaabat's Gaffar Şükür was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bulut Akdoğu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Bulut Akdoğu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaffar Şükür saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Rıfkı Tanalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Tayyip Çetintürk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eren Türkeş was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When Hurşit Özben came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Akcaabat fans jumped to their feet. Çavuşoğlu S.K.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bulut Akdoğu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tayyip Çetintürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eren Türkeş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hurşit Özben was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Akcaabat's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Tayyip Çetintürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Cezmi Reşan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Tayyip Çetintürk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eren Türkeş, 1-1. Arda Ulualp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaffar Şükür took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Ulualp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Hurşit Özben managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akcaabat's supporters rose to their feet, but Hurşit Özben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eren Türkeş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eren Türkeş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tayyip Çetintürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Akcaabat had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
