Kozakli SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sami Sungun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaffar Şükür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necati İstanbul, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Hurşit Özben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ali Nabi Emek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sami Sungun was the one to do the kick off. Tayyip Çetintürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaffar Şükür stood somewhat misplaced when Necati İstanbul came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 54 minute. If Tayyip Çetintürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akcaabat's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Sami Sungun scored to the left of an out of position Gaffar Şükür, making the score, 0-2. Sami Sungun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Sami Sungun fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaffar Şükür, passed just outside the right post. In the 73rd minute, Sami Sungun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 played minutes Akcaabat got a freekick which was hit by Uğurcan Ciner. Kozakli SK's Sami Sungun was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Necati İstanbul fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kozakli SK's protests and gave Necati İstanbul a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Kozakli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necati İstanbul to maneuver through the defense.
