Spectators: 7145 (Terracing: 5392, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 100) Cifteler's Melih Cevdet Tosunoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Cifteler from getting a goal against them. Tanju Cezlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Taci Durak fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akcaabat's protests and gave Taci Durak a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Akcaabat got a freekick which was hit by Taci Durak. In the 11th minute of the match Güvenç Diclehan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaffar Şükür showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Cifteler's Melih Cevdet Tosunoğlu got control of the ball when Hurşit Özben tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Hadi Seçkiner put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gaffar Şükür. Tayyip Çetintürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melih Cevdet Tosunoğlu having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Akcaabat's Tayyip Çetintürk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melih Cevdet Tosunoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hadi Seçkiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaffar Şükür having to interfere. Cifteler's Tanju Cezlan got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tanju Cezlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaffar Şükür. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tanju Cezlan ran back to his position shaking his head. Hadi Seçkiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hurşit Özben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 56th minute, Tanju Cezlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaffar Şükür was a little too slow when Tamer Eygül got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-2. 64 minutes into the match, Cifteler's Tanju Cezlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaffar Şükür narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hadi Seçkiner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gaffar Şükür made a huge save. In the 79th match minute, Cifteler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Boran Akoğlu to maneuver through the defense. When Tayyip Çetintürk came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Akcaabat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tayyip Çetintürk couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Hadi Seçkiner notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Akcaabat's Gaffar Şükür. Gaffar Şükür was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, Cifteler's goal looked a bit too open when Hurşit Özben came free, but Melih Cevdet Tosunoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Gaffar Şükür successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle sounded Cifteler left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Akcaabat.
