Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hatemi Ömür started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Sivasspor's goalkeeper Nusrettin Özdoruk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Necati İstanbul. Nurettin Mecnun charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nurettin Mecnun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alkın Sahadettin's late challenge caught a Sivasspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alkın Sahadettin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sivasspor booed when Kozakli SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkın Sahadettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Güvenç Paye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Sivasspor's Demircan Seyhun in action when he in the 19th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Sami Sungun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nusrettin Özdoruk having to interfere. The supporters of Kozakli SK booed when Sivasspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Alp Yoruk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes Sivasspor got a freekick which was hit by Hatemi Ömür. In the 36th minute Sami Sungun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nusrettin Özdoruk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kozakli SK defense, Serhan Sıratullah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Nabi Emek. The Kozakli SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Nabi Emek should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Nurettin Mecnun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sivasspor getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nurettin Mecnun hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kozakli SK's Kazım Fırıncıoğlu tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Demircan Seyhun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kozakli SK's Ali Nabi Emek didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After having played for 51 minutes, Necati İstanbul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kozakli SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necati İstanbul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 played minutes Kozakli SK got a freekick which was hit by Güvenç Paye. Serhan Sıratullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ali Nabi Emek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Alkın Sahadettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nusrettin Özdoruk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necati İstanbul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute of the match Kozakli SK got a corner. Sivasspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kazım Fırıncıoğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kozakli SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kazım Fırıncıoğlu in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Sivasspor's goal looked a bit too open when Necati İstanbul came free, but Nusrettin Özdoruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Alkın Sahadettin made a precise shot to the right of Nusrettin Özdoruk. Sivasspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ali Nabi Emek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hatemi Ömür showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 81 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Necati İstanbul in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nusrettin Özdoruk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kozakli SK's goalkeeper Ali Nabi Emek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match, Hatemi Ömür tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ali Nabi Emek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Serhan Sıratullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Sivasspor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sivasspor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
