Mersin JK's Necmi Uçarer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürel İmroz in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mersin JK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rüknettin Keremşah was slow to take the kick. During this time Gayreddin Spor Kulübü's players had a chance to rest. Necmi Uçarer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökhun Ersalmış in the 18th minute of the match. Demiralp Salur charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demiralp Salur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Demiralp Salur hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mersin JK! Necmi Uçarer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökhun Ersalmış in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Armağan Başok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Necmi Uçarer. Mersin JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armağan Başok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Mersin JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Necmi Uçarer should have stopped the shot. The Mersin JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gayreddin Spor Kulübü were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Erdem Uygunel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gökhun Ersalmış fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necmi Uçarer having to interfere. Mecnun Hizanlı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Necmi Uçarer having to make a save. Mehdi Cenker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaan Murtaza's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Mersin JK's Necmi Uçarer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mersin JK from getting a goal against them. Kaan Murtaza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Erdem Uygunel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kaan Murtaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehdi Cenker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Erdem Uygunel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Mersin JK's Necmi Uçarer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mersin JK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 94 minutes, Ali Erdem Uygunel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mersin JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Erdem Uygunel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Mersin JK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gayreddin Spor Kulübü's performance. The match ended with a win for Gayreddin Spor Kulübü.
