Sait Uğuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Olgunsu in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ekmekspor's zone, Birant Talay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akın Rafi came out of the goal and Birant Talay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kartalspor getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Muhsin Erkılınç hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Tolga Demirsah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kartalspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekmekspor the free kick. Tolga Demirsah kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With his leg Sait Uğuz managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Ekmekspor's Arif Olgunsu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin in the 29th minute of play forced Kartalspor's goalkeeper Sait Uğuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kartalspor's Sait Uğuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Olgunsu in the 35th minute of play. Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sait Uğuz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Behzat Tezer in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sait Uğuz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sait Uğuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behzat Tezer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ekmekspor defense, Birant Talay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akın Rafi. The Ekmekspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akın Rafi should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Birant Talay made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Kartalspor's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin came free, but Sait Uğuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ekmekspor fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Ekmekspor's Arif Olgunsu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sait Uğuz came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ekmekspor's Arif Olgunsu. But to his dismay, Arif Olgunsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kartalspor's Birant Talay got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fikri Sönmez kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sait Uğuz having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kartalspor's Sait Uğuz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cüneyt İncili kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cahit Aşkın hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Mustafa Yaşar Saadettin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ekmekspor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
