Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bektaş Akgöze started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Eskişehir Jimnastik Klübü's Saltuk Başay got control of the ball when Korkutalp Özengin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sedat Ülküm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Aykan Şahinter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saltuk Başay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Saltuk Başay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Emir Bintuğ in the 20th minute of play. Bektaş Akgöze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aykan Şahinter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aykan Şahinter came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Eskişehir Jimnastik Klübü's Sedat Ülküm. But to his dismay, Sedat Ülküm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Korkutalp Özengin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Korkutalp Özengin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Saltuk Başay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saltuk Başay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korkutalp Özengin struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Saltuk Başay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milli Gençlik. Eskişehir Jimnastik Klübü's Saltuk Başay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu in the 41st minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu was the one to do the kick off. If Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes of play, Milli Gençlik's Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saltuk Başay was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68thth minute of the game Korkutalp Özengin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eskişehir Jimnastik Klübü's Saltuk Başay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sedat Ülküm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykan Şahinter having to interfere. If Sedat Ülküm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saltuk Başay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu in the 75th minute of play. Milli Gençlik's Çelikan Korcan pulled a muscle in his leg after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Arslan İdrisoğlu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. Arslan İdrisoğlu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batu Malgır in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saltuk Başay saved Eskişehir Jimnastik Klübü from getting behind. In the 81st minute Korkutalp Özengin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saltuk Başay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Korkutalp Özengin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milli Gençlik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korkutalp Özengin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milli Gençlik's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
