Korkutalp Özengin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu in the 55th minute of play forced Kecierengücü's goalkeeper Arda Baybars Nurdag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aykan Şahinter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emran Sönmezalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Milli Gençlik's zone, Yusuf Ayhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aykan Şahinter came out of the goal and Yusuf Ayhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aykan Şahinter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emran Sönmezalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th match minute, Kecierengücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Cem Coşkuner to maneuver through the defense. Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Baybars Nurdag having to interfere. With his leg Arda Baybars Nurdag managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Milli Gençlik's Korkutalp Özengin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dinçer Fırıncıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Baybars Nurdag having to interfere. Kecierengücü's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
