Saltuk Başay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ege Kazanhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Ege Kazanhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. kayaköy SK's Mirza Kılınç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save kayaköy SK from getting a goal against them. In the 32ndth minute of the game Münir Aktaşlı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eskişehir Jimnastik Klübü's Saltuk Başay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saltuk Başay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ege Kazanhan in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ege Kazanhan in the 44th minute of play forced Eskişehir Jimnastik Klübü's goalkeeper Saltuk Başay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Münir Aktaşlı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The kayaköy SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Münir Aktaşlı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
