Deniz Seçkiner charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deniz Seçkiner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Deniz Seçkiner hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ankara SK's Cabbar Özbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okanalp Ayvaz in the 33rd minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cheleby reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Güralp Ruhsan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şenol Tarık stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cabbar Özbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Sancar in the 52nd minute of the match. Tacettin Korkut's late challenge caught a Cheleby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şenol Tarık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ankara SK's zone, Ahmet Gündüz Sancar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cabbar Özbey came out of the goal and Ahmet Gündüz Sancar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ankara SK's goalkeeper Cabbar Özbey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Okanalp Ayvaz. With a little luck, Ankara SK's Cabbar Özbey got control of the ball when Okanalp Ayvaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Mehmet Anıl Başkurt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ankara SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cheleby the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Ankara SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Anıl Başkurt to maneuver through the defense. Ankara SK's Cabbar Özbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Ankara SK from getting a goal against them. Cabbar Özbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Sancar in the 88th minute of the match.
