When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, FeNerBahçeM's Aktaç Uğurtan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hamit Doğanlar. In the 13th minute of the match, Erhun Hozatlı tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hamit Doğanlar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erhun Hozatlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sowwallie FC's goalkeeper Hamit Doğanlar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FeNerBahçeM reached it. Sowwallie FC's Sabri İzgi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Rafet Katib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolga Hünkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabri İzgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erhun Hozatlı to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Sowwallie FC got a freekick which was hit by Oktay Erginalp. When Erhun Hozatlı came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FeNerBahçeM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erhun Hozatlı couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Erhun Hozatlı managed to get in a good position for a shot. FeNerBahçeM's supporters rose to their feet, but Erhun Hozatlı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamit Doğanlar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FeNerBahçeM's zone, Sabri İzgi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolga Hünkar came out of the goal and Sabri İzgi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sadri İzzettin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Aktaç Uğurtan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sowwallie FC's Hamit Doğanlar didn't even have to move. Hamit Doğanlar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafet Katib in the 74th minute of the match. Erhun Hozatlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sabri İzgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FeNerBahçeM's Erhun Hozatlı got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhun Hozatlı in the 90th minute of play forced Sowwallie FC's goalkeeper Hamit Doğanlar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FeNerBahçeM had won after a very even match.
