Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Erzurumspor 1968's Bahadır Konuralp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bahtiyar Vakkasoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ferdi Akburak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Bahadır Konuralp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erzurumspor 1968 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Bahtiyar Vakkasoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahadır Konuralp was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bünyan's Ferdi Akburak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yalçın Onuk in the 21st minute of play. Ferdi Akburak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahadır Konuralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinç Kabil hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Atakan Hicab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erzurumspor 1968's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bünyan the free kick. Bahtiyar Usare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mücahit Nusrettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Bünyan defense, Bahadır Konuralp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdi Akburak. The Bünyan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdi Akburak should have stopped the shot. If Peker Özinal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mücahit Nusrettin to make the kick off. Dinç Kabil charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinç Kabil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, one of Erzurumspor 1968:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Erzurumspor 1968. Mücahit Nusrettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahtiyar Usare having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Göktan Topuz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erzurumspor 1968's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bünyan the free kick. In the 61st minute, Göktan Topuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Bünyan's goal looked a bit too open when Bahadır Konuralp came free, but Ferdi Akburak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bahadır Konuralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahtiyar Vakkasoğlu in the 68th minute of play forced Bünyan's goalkeeper Ferdi Akburak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Bahadır Konuralp made a precise shot to the right of Ferdi Akburak. Bünyan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 73rd minute Mücahit Nusrettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahtiyar Usare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdi Akburak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahtiyar Vakkasoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The Erzurumspor 1968 fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Erzurumspor 1968's Bahadır Konuralp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bahtiyar Vakkasoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bünyan's Ferdi Akburak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahadır Konuralp in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Erzurumspor 1968 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
