Spectators: 6005 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 5) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Suat Fırıncı started the match with the kick off. Hakkı Onur Uzalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Emin Otaran made a huge save. Çetin Tur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şensoy Şanberk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. When Saip Ergüleç came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the SİLAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saip Ergüleç couldn't finish the play. Ata Kurman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Şensoy Şanberk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Çetin Tur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute, Çetin Tur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ata Kurman managed to get in a good position for a shot. SİLAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Ata Kurman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şensoy Şanberk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mümin Uma's late challenge caught a Cakabey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mümin Uma helped the player get up and apologised. Şensoy Şanberk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ata Kurman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ali Cafer Pekdemir hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Suat Fırıncı received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emin Otaran came out and tried to block the shot, but Suat Fırıncı slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute Çetin Tur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şensoy Şanberk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ata Kurman came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the SİLAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ata Kurman couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Çetin Tur to strike the kick off in the second half. Saip Ergüleç struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Şensoy Şanberk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SİLAY. Cakabey's Şensoy Şanberk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Cakabey from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Arın Ferhat Semin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Çetin Tur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şensoy Şanberk. The goal made the score 2-1. A hard shot 83 in the game by Ata Kurman from a close distance when the talented Şensoy Şanberk managed to make a qualified save. Cakabey's players were relieved. 84 minutes into the match, Cakabey's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Tur came free, but Şensoy Şanberk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Çetin Tur might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şensoy Şanberk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Çetin Tur ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berkin Şahinter during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berkin Şahinter hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Hakkı Onur Uzalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cakabey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hakkı Onur Uzalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th match minute, SİLAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkin Şahinter to maneuver through the defense. Many of SİLAY's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SİLAY may have spent more time on the ball, but Cakabey were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
