Kamber Öztarhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akif Türkşen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kamber Öztarhan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Süruri Işık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akif Türkşen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Kamber Öztarhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SSFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamber Öztarhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akif Türkşen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamber Öztarhan in the 23rd minute of play. Ahmet Necdet Resulhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Haldun Yastıkcığlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Kamber Öztarhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ahirkapi's Akif Türkşen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kamber Öztarhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. SSFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamber Öztarhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akif Türkşen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haldun Yastıkcığlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SSFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
