When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yunus Acabey made a kick off. Yunus Acabey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yunus Acabey got free with Rahmi Dalga in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Dilmen Zafir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Tolga Sezgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüknettin Tunçkılıç in the 97th minute of play. The Izmit players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
