Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 100) Şehzadeler Taşova's Rüknettin Tunçkılıç started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Hamdi Acem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rahmi Dalga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ünal Türksan took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rahmi Dalga. Rahmi Dalga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Erzin's zone, Rüknettin Tunçkılıç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orhan Veli Batıkan came out of the goal and Rüknettin Tunçkılıç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Şehzadeler Taşova's goal looked a bit too open when Ünal Türksan came free, but Rahmi Dalga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Rüknettin Tunçkılıç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orhan Veli Batıkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Muhittin Tümen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 27th minute, Rüknettin Tunçkılıç reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orhan Veli Batıkan. The goal made the score 1-2. 32 minutes into the match, Erzin's Rafettin Akersoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rahmi Dalga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rüknettin Tunçkılıç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Cornel Gavra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ünal Türksan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rahmi Dalga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Tuncay Demir took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rahmi Dalga. Rahmi Dalga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Rafettin Akersoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rahmi Dalga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ünal Türksan got free with Rahmi Dalga in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Erzin getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aybars Orhon hit a great ball. Rahmi Dalga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafettin Akersoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuncay Demir's late challenge caught a Şehzadeler Taşova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tuncay Demir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Tuncay Demir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rahmi Dalga didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Rahmi Dalga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ünal Türksan in the 68th minute. Ünal Türksan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ünal Türksan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir Sanschagrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orhan Veli Batıkan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafettin Akersoy in the 86th minute of play forced Şehzadeler Taşova's goalkeeper Rahmi Dalga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rahmi Dalga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ünal Türksan in the 88th minute. Şehzadeler Taşova's Rahmi Dalga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafettin Akersoy in the 89th minute of play. Tuncay Demir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rahmi Dalga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Erzin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
