Manavgat JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yenikale Birlik the free kick. A collision led to Manavgat JK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Fetih Ekinoğlu hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Manavgat JK's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Seyfi Özkut came free, but Tião Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Manavgat JK booed when Yenikale Birlik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Seyfi Özkut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demircan Ahid in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Manavgat JK's Tião Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhan Seyfi Özkut in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Orhan Seyfi Özkut notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Manavgat JK's Tião Linhares. Tião Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orhan Seyfi Özkut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Yenikale Birlik's Orhan Seyfi Özkut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tião Linhares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 43 minutes of play, Yenikale Birlik's Orhan Seyfi Özkut made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tião Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orhan Seyfi Özkut to make the kick off. Orhan Seyfi Özkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tião Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhan Seyfi Özkut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orhan Seyfi Özkut came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. If Orhan Seyfi Özkut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orhan Seyfi Özkut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Linhares having to interfere. When Aytek Kunt came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Yenikale Birlik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytek Kunt couldn't finish the play. Yenikale Birlik's Orhan Seyfi Özkut got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yenikale Birlik's Orhan Seyfi Özkut managed to work through Manavgat JK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Orhan Seyfi Özkut dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the match was over Yenikale Birlik could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manavgat JK throughout the match.
