Uğur Remiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asım Tüzmen having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cüneyd Ulubek got free with Asım Tüzmen in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uğur Remiz during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yayladere booed when Menderes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğur Remiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asım Tüzmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nafiz Beşir in the 15th minute of play. Yayladere's Asım Tüzmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Yayladere from getting a goal against them. Yayladere's Asım Tüzmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nafiz Beşir in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Cüneyd Ulubek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menderes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Onuralp Suavi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Asım Tüzmen made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Batıkan Özkut put in a rough tackle. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yayladere! The goalkeeper, Asım Tüzmen, was totally fooled by Menderes's Kutlualp Ersavaş, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 37 minutes into the match, Yayladere's goalkeeper Asım Tüzmen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cüneyd Ulubek. Asım Tüzmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nafiz Beşir, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Asım Tüzmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nafiz Beşir in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Yayladere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uygur Özbekkan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 43 minutes, Nafiz Beşir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menderes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nafiz Beşir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Uğur Remiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asım Tüzmen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nafiz Beşir to make the kick off. Asım Tüzmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ege Çelikyay in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Yayladere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uygur Özbekkan to maneuver through the defense. The Yayladere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asım Tüzmen should have stopped the shot. Menderes's supporters rose to their feet, but Onuralp Suavi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asım Tüzmen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ahmet Ceyhan Durdu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
