An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancarbey Uğursan in the 8th minute of play forced Kesan's goalkeeper Ardahan Uralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Zikri Adışanlı put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ataol Hürsev. 15 minutes into the match, Kesan's goal looked a bit too open when Berkem Dafi came free, but Ardahan Uralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berkem Dafi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ardahan Uralp made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Kesan's zone, İstemihan İltemur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ardahan Uralp came out of the goal and İstemihan İltemur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Berkem Dafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Demircan İlbilge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istanbulspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Demircan İlbilge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardahan Uralp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demircan İlbilge in the 28th minute of play forced Kesan's goalkeeper Ardahan Uralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zikri Adışanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ardahan Uralp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demircan İlbilge's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demircan İlbilge in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ardahan Uralp saved Kesan from getting behind. Kesan's Mehmet Bilge Tigin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kamber Karan, made in the 57th minute of the game. Ardahan Uralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demircan İlbilge, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ardahan Uralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sancarbey Uğursan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Kesan got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nejat Akyazı. Demircan İlbilge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Istanbulspor's İstemihan İltemur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ardahan Uralp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Sezer Mecnun got a throw-in 74 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sancarbey Uğursan. After 75 minutes of play, Istanbulspor's Demircan İlbilge made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ardahan Uralp was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sancarbey Uğursan during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Istanbulspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sancarbey Uğursan to maneuver through the defense. When Zikri Adışanlı came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Kesan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zikri Adışanlı couldn't finish the play. If Ali Nejat Akyazı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ardahan Uralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkem Dafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Kamber Karan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kesan's Ali Nejat Akyazı quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Doğan Sayraç was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Doğan Sayraç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Istanbulspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kesan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
