Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Durusu's Halil Utku Masuk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Kütahya booed when Durusu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Kağan Biçimli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orhan Seyfi Bozoğluer came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Kütahya's Cemalettin İkram. But to his dismay, Cemalettin İkram quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Özmen İrfan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil Utku Masuk in the 33rd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cemalettin İkram to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Durusu's goal looked a bit too open when Cemalettin İkram came free, but Orhan Seyfi Bozoğluer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durusu's Orhan Seyfi Bozoğluer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Durusu from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaptan İcmal during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kaptan İcmal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Kütahya's Cemalettin İkram dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. A collision led to Kütahya getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Kılıçhan Tokuzer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duman Başarman in the 83rd minute of play forced Kütahya's goalkeeper Özmen İrfan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Durusu's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Bozoğluer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Durusu's Orhan Seyfi Bozoğluer got control of the ball when Aytuğ Tekay tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Halil Utku Masuk fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Durusu's protests and gave Halil Utku Masuk a yellow card for diving instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kütahya would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
