The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tamer Erdoğdu during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tamer Erdoğdu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Ferhan Başdaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Emek booed when Pamukkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamer Erdoğdu didn't get a good kick on the ball. İskender Dursunali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Süleyman Kavi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferhan Başdaş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, İskender Dursunali skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Afşin Bayraktar charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afşin Bayraktar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Pamukkale got a freekick which was hit by Afşin Bayraktar. The long shot by Hikmet Erbelgin in the 21st minute really tested İskender Dursunali's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demir Uca in the 27th minute of play forced Emek's goalkeeper Cengizhan Hatip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İskender Dursunali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Süleyman Kavi in the 34th minute of the match. Ferhan Başdaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pamukkale booed when Emek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süleyman Kavi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demir Uca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cengizhan Hatip having to interfere. Demir Uca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cengizhan Hatip having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Süleyman Kavi made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Pamukkale's Demir Uca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cengizhan Hatip narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Süleyman Kavi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet İlhan Başhekim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cengizhan Hatip read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Ferhan Başdaş made a precise shot to the right of İskender Dursunali. Pamukkale's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With his leg Cengizhan Hatip managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Pamukkale's Demir Uca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mehmet Halis Teber was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pamukkale fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! After having played for 76 minutes, Ferhan Başdaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferhan Başdaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Süleyman Kavi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without İskender Dursunali having to make a save. In the 78th minute Ferhan Başdaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İskender Dursunali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferhan Başdaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Pamukkale's goal looked a bit too open when Süleyman Kavi came free, but İskender Dursunali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferhan Başdaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Süleyman Kavi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İskender Dursunali was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Emek's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
