But to his dismay, Cenk Tosun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Balkanspor FK booed when GaLaTaSaRaY Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veniamin Peroulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Ümit Uğurel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Murathan Orcan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Balkanspor FK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Enes Bintuğ hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Uğurel came free, but Murathan Orcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murathan Orcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamuran Uçarer, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamuran Uçarer in the 27th minute of play forced GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's goalkeeper Murathan Orcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murathan Orcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahadırhan Harmanda in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Kamuran Uçarer made a precise shot to the right of Murathan Orcan. GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Murathan Orcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Murathan Orcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enes Bintuğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Uğurel came free, but Murathan Orcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murathan Orcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Uğurel in the 48th minute of play. The GaLaTaSaRaY Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Balkanspor FK were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cenk Tosun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's goalkeeper Murathan Orcan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enes Bintuğ. Veniamin Peroulis struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Cenk Rıza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GaLaTaSaRaY Fc. Veniamin Peroulis kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Balkanspor FK's Ümit Uğurel got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute, Bahadırhan Harmanda made a precise shot to the right of Murathan Orcan. GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Kamuran Uçarer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Murathan Orcan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Güney Özerman kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veniamin Peroulis in the 81st minute of play forced Balkanspor FK's goalkeeper Cenk Rıza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When GaLaTaSaRaY Fc's Cenk Tosun in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balkanspor FK's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, Balkanspor FK's Murathan Orcan threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rahim Torhan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Murathan Orcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Uğurel in the 85th minute of play. Kamuran Uçarer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murathan Orcan having to interfere. Murathan Orcan was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Talat Beybolat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Talat Beybolat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. 95 minutes into the game, one of GaLaTaSaRaY Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Murathan Orcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahim Torhan in the 99th minute of play. When the match was over Balkanspor FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GaLaTaSaRaY Fc throughout the match.
