Kamuran Uçarer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pamukkale getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Menderes Hurmacı hit a great ball. İskender Dursunali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamuran Uçarer's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The Balkanspor FK fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Balkanspor FK's Ümit Uğurel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th match minute, Pamukkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamer Erdoğdu to maneuver through the defense. When Bahadırhan Harmanda fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balkanspor FK's protests and gave Bahadırhan Harmanda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pamukkale getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Demir Uca hit a great ball. When Demir Uca got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Pamukkale. Cenk Rıza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demir Uca in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Ümit Uğurel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Balkanspor FK's Cenk Rıza got control of the ball when Demir Uca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Pamukkale's Demir Uca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Enes Bintuğ fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balkanspor FK's protests and gave Enes Bintuğ a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Balkanspor FK's Enes Bintuğ got a free kick in the 34th minute. Demir Uca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 35th playminute. Kamuran Uçarer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İskender Dursunali having to interfere. Cenk Rıza made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Demir Uca sent off a good shot on target. İskender Dursunali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ümit Uğurel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demir Uca was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demir Uca in the 60th minute of play forced Balkanspor FK's goalkeeper Cenk Rıza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamuran Uçarer got free with İskender Dursunali in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demir Uca struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cenk Rıza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pamukkale. İskender Dursunali came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Balkanspor FK's Kamuran Uçarer. But to his dismay, Kamuran Uçarer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
