Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karsiyaka's Okanay Canver started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Okanay Canver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akşemseddin Nesil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okanay Canver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Akşemseddin Nesil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okanay Canver in the 16th minute of play forced EspiyeSpor's goalkeeper Akşemseddin Nesil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Selçuk Tokdemir put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Akşemseddin Nesil. 22 minutes into the match, EspiyeSpor's goalkeeper Akşemseddin Nesil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Selçuk Tokdemir. Salih Yağızbay charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salih Yağızbay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of EspiyeSpor booed when Karsiyaka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salih Yağızbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karsiyaka's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
