Ozan Akbilge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rauf Gence in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Yahya Kerem fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Arda Göksel Şevki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Tanju İmren made a precise shot to the right of Ozan Akbilge. Yerdeki Yıldızlar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Asesler FK booed when Yerdeki Yıldızlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yahya Kerem didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arda Göksel Şevki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yerdeki Yıldızlar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yahya Kerem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Kerem in the 43rd minute of play forced Asesler FK's goalkeeper Hamza Ulucağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rauf Gence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yerdeki Yıldızlar's Ozan Akbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanju İmren in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rauf Gence to make the kick off. When Ahmet Orhan Gencer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Ahmet Orhan Gencer kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Yahya Kerem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hamza Ulucağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Asesler FK's Recep Tayyip Yıldırımtürk got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Kayacan Kuntay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamza Ulucağ showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Yerdeki Yıldızlar's Yahya Kerem in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Asesler FK's goalie prevented a goal. After 80 minutes of play, Asesler FK's Tanju İmren made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ozan Akbilge was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rauf Gence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arda Göksel Şevki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hamza Ulucağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamza Ulucağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Göksel Şevki in the 98th minute of play. The Asesler FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Asesler FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
