The referee ignored Mecidiyeköy's protests and gave Ahmet Refik Başbuğ a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mecidiyeköy getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ahmet Refik Başbuğ hit a great ball. Çelebi Oker, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Erdoğan Tokyay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gökhan Beyzade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When Olcay Orkun Orhun fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BARTIN FC's protests and gave Olcay Orkun Orhun a yellow card for diving instead. If Oğuzhan Sarper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sermet Türel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erdoğan Tokyay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzhan Sarper in the 51st minute of play forced BARTIN FC's goalkeeper Aktan Özalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mecidiyeköy booed when BARTIN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüknettin Tuncay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Oğuzhan Sarper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktan Özalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oğuzhan Sarper in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aktan Özalp saved BARTIN FC from getting behind. Aktan Özalp was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Birsel Tarhun. Mecidiyeköy's Oğuzhan Sarper got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Mecidiyeköy's Eyüp Kalender broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 79 minutes into the match, BARTIN FC's goalkeeper Aktan Özalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sermet Türel. BARTIN FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Oğuzhan Sarper scored to the left of an out of position Aktan Özalp, making the score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Mecidiyeköy's Ali Galip Şenbay got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 87 minutes of play, Mecidiyeköy's Sermet Türel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aktan Özalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Sermet Türel got free with Aktan Özalp in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Oğuzhan Sarper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktan Özalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Oğuzhan Sarper ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aktan Özalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ali Galip Şenbay hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute of the match Çelebi Oker shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gökhan Beyzade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Mecidiyeköy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BARTIN FC.
