Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. İskender Baki Lut started the match with the kick off. Zeynel Taykurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Ugraş having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Kalkan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ataol Zeyni to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Gencalp Taygun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kelkit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gencalp Taygun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Gencalp Taygun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Tahir Şükrü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Ugraş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahir Şükrü in the 26th minute of play forced Kelkit's goalkeeper Turgut Ugraş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İskender Baki Lut hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Gencalp Taygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeynel Taykurt in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Turgut Ugraş saved Kelkit from getting behind. Kalkan's Ahmet Tolga Akpolat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İskender Baki Lut in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Arif Samet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Tahir Şükrü made the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Tolga Akpolat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturalp Ergünay in the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kelkit's Turgut Ugraş got control of the ball when Zeynel Taykurt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeynel Taykurt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Turgut Ugraş skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Turgut Ugraş was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erman Oncubay. Ahmet Tolga Akpolat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturalp Ergünay in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahir Şükrü in the 74th minute of play forced Kelkit's goalkeeper Turgut Ugraş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Kalkan were awarded a corner. Tahir Şükrü went to the cornerflag to take it. Turgut Ugraş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tahir Şükrü, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Zeynel Taykurt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalkan's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeynel Taykurt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turgut Ugraş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Tolga Akpolat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İskender Baki Lut in the 87th minute of play. Turgut Ugraş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahir Şükrü in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Zeynel Taykurt notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kelkit's Turgut Ugraş. Turgut Ugraş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Kelkit supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kalkan's performance. The match ended with a win for Kalkan.
