Ahmet Baki Dündar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Ali Uzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasan Ali Uzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ercan Ramazan during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Kovancilar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KOPUZLAR FK:s goal. Mustafa Arif Evcimen had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Çelikan Sadi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. KOPUZLAR FK's Ahmet Baki Dündar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tansu Revis in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Orbay Acaralp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Baki Dündar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. KOPUZLAR FK's Ahmet Baki Dündar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutalp Sidar in the 38th minute of play. Hasan Ali Uzman struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ahmet Baki Dündar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovancilar. After having played for 42 minutes, Kutalp Sidar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovancilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kutalp Sidar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hasan Ali Uzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kutalp Sidar was the one to do the kick off. Kutalp Sidar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Baki Dündar came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Kovancilar's Hasan Ali Uzman. But to his dismay, Hasan Ali Uzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Hasan Ali Uzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovancilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Ali Uzman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hasan Ali Uzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kutalp Sidar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ahmet Baki Dündar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Baki Dündar had great luck who in the 73rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Kutalp Sidar from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 81st minute Kutalp Sidar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Baki Dündar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Nizam Karakaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KOPUZLAR FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kovancilar the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, KOPUZLAR FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nizam Karakaya to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes, Ruhi Akarsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KOPUZLAR FK and the Kovancilar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in KOPUZLAR FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Kovancilar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
