Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bedih Çetinsoy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Yakacik got a freekick which was hit by Akil Evcimen. After 5 minutes, Sezer Yanık mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yakacik and the galatasaray players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Yakacik getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sezer Yanık hit a great ball. Hıdır Çelebioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahir Sertel having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Yakacik's goal looked a bit too open when Hıdır Çelebioğlu came free, but Tahir Sertel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hıdır Çelebioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tahir Sertel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demircan Okanalp in the 16th minute of play forced galatasaray's goalkeeper Zekeriya Sezgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, galatasaray's Ömer Rıza Polat got a free kick in the 18th minute. Yakacik's Nazmi Dilercan got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zekeriya Sezgi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nazmi Dilercan went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hıdır Çelebioğlu in the 29th minute of play forced Yakacik's goalkeeper Tahir Sertel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hıdır Çelebioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tahir Sertel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Erdoğan Vahdettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, galatasaray's Ömer Rıza Polat tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Bedih Çetinsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahir Sertel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zekeriya Sezgi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nazmi Dilercan in the 39th minute. Nazmi Dilercan came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zekeriya Sezgi could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demircan Okanalp to make the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by galatasaray's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Azmi Tefhim was slow to take the kick. During this time Yakacik's players had a chance to rest. 58 minutes into the match, galatasaray's Bedih Çetinsoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tahir Sertel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hıdır Çelebioğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Tahir Sertel made a huge save. 60 minutes into the game, Erdoğan Vahdettin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yakacik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave galatasaray the free kick. Erdoğan Vahdettin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Bedih Çetinsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tahir Sertel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedih Çetinsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Hıdır Çelebioğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tahir Sertel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Bedih Çetinsoy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tahir Sertel. Bedih Çetinsoy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Bedih Çetinsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdoğan Vahdettin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Bedih Çetinsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Tahir Sertel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zekeriya Sezgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demircan Okanalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tahir Sertel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedih Çetinsoy in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
