Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tahir Şükrü kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Kovancilar's Mustafa Arif Evcimen got control of the ball when Zeynel Taykurt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The long shot by Özkan Altuncuoğlu in the 11th minute really tested Mustafa Arif Evcimen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mustafa Arif Evcimen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahir Şükrü in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Kovancilar's goalkeeper Mustafa Arif Evcimen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeynel Taykurt. Zeynel Taykurt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Mustafa Arif Evcimen made a huge save. Mustafa Arif Evcimen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahir Şükrü in the 16th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kutalp Sidar during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kutalp Sidar hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Kovancilar's Mustafa Arif Evcimen got control of the ball when Zeynel Taykurt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tansu Revis charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tansu Revis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Kovancilar got a freekick which was hit by Tansu Revis. 32 minutes into the match, Kalkan's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Ali Uzman came free, but Ahmet Tolga Akpolat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Hayrullah Onursay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kalkan's Zeynel Taykurt got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Kürşat Akdurmuş hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Ali Kürşat Akdurmuş fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalkan's protests and gave Ali Kürşat Akdurmuş a yellow card for diving instead. İhsan Süleymanoğlu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kovancilar's Hasan Ali Uzman got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kutalp Sidar to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play Kovancilar's Tansu Revis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Kovancilar getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Tansu Revis hit a great ball. Ahmet Tolga Akpolat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Ali Uzman in the 58th minute of play. With his leg Ahmet Tolga Akpolat managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Kovancilar's Hasan Ali Uzman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd match minute, Kalkan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Kürşat Akdurmuş to maneuver through the defense. 1-0 became the score in the 66th minute when Zeynel Taykurt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tahir Şükrü's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Arif Evcimen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasan Ali Uzman got free with Ahmet Tolga Akpolat in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Kalkan's zone, Hayrullah Onursay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Tolga Akpolat came out of the goal and Hayrullah Onursay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kovancilar's Hasan Ali Uzman got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Arif Evcimen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tahir Şükrü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kovancilar's Mustafa Arif Evcimen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeynel Taykurt in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kovancilar's Birdal Çevikcan got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Kovancilar booed when Kalkan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahir Şükrü didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kovancilar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kalkan.
