With an all-out effort, Akyazı's Olgun Hancı threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Refik Kalhan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Kalhan in the 31st minute of play forced Uludere's goalkeeper Olgun Hancı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uludere's Olgun Hancı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Refik Kalhan in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Berker Başesgioğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fazlı Nasr. Berker Başesgioğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The supporters of Akyazı booed when Uludere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muammer Sayfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mithat Dalokay hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Aycan Elmacı's late challenge caught a Akyazı's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aycan Elmacı helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Uludere got a freekick which was hit by Aycan Elmacı. Uludere's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
