Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haşmet Bulut started the match with the kick off. Can Cire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Nebi Tara made a huge save. In the 11th minute Yaser Özbir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilgaz Sanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Nebi Tara managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Datca's Can Cire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 15 minutes into the match, Silopi's goalkeeper Nebi Tara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Can Cire. Can Cire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Nebi Tara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halit Ziya Uraltay kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Can Cire struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Nebi Tara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Datca. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyfi Canol in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nebi Tara saved Silopi from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Silopi's goal looked a bit too open when Seyfi Canol came free, but Nebi Tara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seyfi Canol in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nebi Tara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Silopi booed when Datca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Bülent Cömert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orhan Veli Akbatur, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Seyfi Canol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nebi Tara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Müfit Togay came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Silopi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Müfit Togay couldn't finish the play. If Seyfi Canol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Seyfi Canol to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Can Cire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nebi Tara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Silopi booed when Datca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doruk Kırgız didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nebi Tara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfi Canol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Silopi defense, Can Cire kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nebi Tara. The Silopi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nebi Tara should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Datca getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Arda Semin hit a great ball. Silopi's Yaser Özbir got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Oktay Turaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silopi's Nebi Tara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Can Cire in the 78th minute of play. Haşmet Bulut received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilgaz Sanay came out and tried to block the shot, but Haşmet Bulut slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 81st minute. Ilgaz Sanay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaser Özbir, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Can Cire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nebi Tara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Can Cire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
