Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Müfit Togay started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Silopi getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Halit Ziya Uraltay hit a great ball. When Kerimhan Vefalı came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Acigöl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerimhan Vefalı couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Acigöl's goal looked a bit too open when Müfit Togay came free, but Temel Akalın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Temel Akalın didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haşmet Bulut went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Müfit Togay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Temel Akalın having to interfere. If Menderes Sözmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acigöl's Menderes Sözmen got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nebi Tara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kerimhan Vefalı in the 22nd minute. Müfit Togay scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Temel Akalın, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Acigöl's Temel Akalın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşmet Bulut in the 29th minute of play. Temel Akalın didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Müfit Togay went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Silopi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Menderes Sözmen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Acigöl's Temel Akalın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşmet Bulut in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erbatur Orbay in the 41st minute of play forced Acigöl's goalkeeper Temel Akalın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Haşmet Bulut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Temel Akalın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerimhan Vefalı got free with Nebi Tara in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Silopi were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kerimhan Vefalı made a kick off. Erbatur Orbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Temel Akalın made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibet Ünüvar during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Acigöl booed when Silopi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibet Ünüvar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Acigöl's goal looked a bit too open when Müfit Togay came free, but Temel Akalın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Temel Akalın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müfit Togay in the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Berk Kaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acigöl's supporters rose to their feet, but Berk Kaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nebi Tara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Acigöl's Temel Akalın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Acigöl from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Acigöl's goalkeeper Temel Akalın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haşmet Bulut. In the 78th match minute, Acigöl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göktuğ Özilter to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Silopi's Müfit Togay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Haşmet Bulut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Temel Akalın made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Kerimhan Vefalı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acigöl's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerimhan Vefalı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nebi Tara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Haşmet Bulut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silopi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The Silopi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Silopi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
