Baykam Saadettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ata Direnç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baykam Saadettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ata Direnç in the 10th minute of the match. Hakkı Deniz Gence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykam Saadettin having to interfere. Atlas United's Güney Azim got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Atlas United booed when Izmirspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirza Serkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aycan Urkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Selim Sertaçgil having to interfere. Baykam Saadettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedim Ünsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Atlas United's Baykam Saadettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caner Deveci in the 45th minute of play. In the 49th minute of the match, Güney Azim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yavuz Selim Sertaçgil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aycan Urkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Atlas United got a freekick which was hit by Çağlar Muhammed. In the 60th match minute, Atlas United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Göktuğ Baykutay to maneuver through the defense. Yavuz Selim Sertaçgil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aycan Urkan in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlas United's Şakir Ülmen got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Izmirspor's Hakkı Deniz Gence made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baykam Saadettin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedim Ünsan in the 76th minute of play forced Atlas United's goalkeeper Baykam Saadettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Ata Direnç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykam Saadettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şakir Ülmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Yavuz Selim Sertaçgil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 97 minutes, Cezmi Hızarcı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlas United and the Izmirspor players grew even worse after the yellow card.
