In the 13th minute, Gürsel Haznedaroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the muratayna defense, Alpay Özkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avni Pekel. The muratayna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avni Pekel should have stopped the shot. Hayrullah İmam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nazmi Sözmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avni Pekel having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Alpay Özkan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of muratayna's Avni Pekel. Avni Pekel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute of the match Naci Öztarhan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Avni Pekel skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Kagithane SK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ahmet Gündüz Yener hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazmi Sözmen in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avni Pekel saved muratayna from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayrullah İmam couldn't finish the play.
When Naci Öztarhan fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kagithane SK's protests and gave Naci Öztarhan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kagithane SK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Naci Öztarhan hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Berat Bucuklu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nazmi Sözmens short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Avni Pekel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th minute, Nazmi Sözmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Güralp Karadeniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kagithane SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave muratayna the free kick. The referee gave muratayna a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Berat Bucuklu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kagithane SK's Egemen Bayraktar. 2-2. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in muratayna reached it.
