Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mesut Kara kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Kagithane SK's Devran Karasu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute, Alpay Özkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şimşek Aral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Fikirtepe JK's Çelikan Oskay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egemen Bayraktar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Kagithane SK booed when Fikirtepe JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çelikan Oskay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nazmi Sözmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alpay Özkan struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Şimşek Aral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kagithane SK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alpay Özkan in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şimşek Aral saved Fikirtepe JK from getting behind. Şimşek Aral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nazmi Sözmen's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Kagithane SK's Naci Öztarhan got a free kick in the 25th minute. Teoman Tuğsavan, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ahmet Gündüz Yener charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Gündüz Yener the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kagithane SK's Ahmet Gündüz Yener got a free kick in the 28th minute. Çelikan Oskay took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egemen Bayraktar. Egemen Bayraktar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alpay Özkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Çelik Hezarfen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Alpay Özkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kagithane SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alpay Özkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Fikirtepe JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarper Necaettin to maneuver through the defense. Şimşek Aral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alpay Özkan in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Nazmi Sözmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şimşek Aral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Mesut Kara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fikirtepe JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mesut Kara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alpay Özkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alpay Özkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Şimşek Aral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Sarper Necaettin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fikirtepe JK and the Kagithane SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Fikirtepe JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarper Necaettin to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Naci Öztarhan in the 56th minute really tested Şimşek Aral's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Fikirtepe JK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Çelik Hezarfen hit a great ball. Fikirtepe JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Alpay Özkan scored to the left of an out of position Şimşek Aral, making the score, 1-2. In the 66th minute, Mesut Kara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kagithane SK's Nazmi Sözmen got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şimşek Aral was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Alpay Özkan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alpay Özkan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Fikirtepe JK's Şimşek Aral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Fikirtepe JK from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Alpay Özkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kagithane SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alpay Özkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şimşek Aral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 85th minute of the match Sarper Necaettin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sarper Necaettin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 85th minute, Sarper Necaettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şimşek Aral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alpay Özkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kagithane SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
