The referee ignored Konyaspor's protests and gave Hasan Tahsin Mahmut a yellow card for diving instead. Hasan Tahsin Mahmut kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. İnanç Yeğin took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fuat Koçarslanoğlu. After a rather tough play, Konyaspor's Hasan Tahsin Mahmut got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 82nd minute Muammer Vefi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hasan Bender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konyaspor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
